Sir Keir Starmer is expected to urge supporting countries to supply Ukraine with more extended-range weaponry to target Moscow's positions during discussions in Britain on Friday.

Sir Keir will host President Zelensky alongside what's known as "alliance of supportive nations", including more than 20 of Kyiv's partners who have committed to offer Kyiv security guarantees once a ceasefire is negotiated.

The Ukrainian leader has been appealing for several weeks for more extended-range systems from the West, a step that Russia has warned would escalate the war.

President Zelensky is journeying from the EU capital, where he conferred with EU leaders on Thursday pursuing funding aid.

The Prime Minister will press leaders to expand the delivery of long-range weapons following an effective operation on a manufacturing site in the Bryansk region, the Russian Federation, using Britain-delivered missile systems.

"Additionally, his horrific strikes on young children in a preschool this week make that crystal clear," he continued.

Two children were among at least seven killed in multiple Moscow's attacks on Ukrainian territory, which struck a preschool facility in the important metropolitan area Kharkiv.

Financial Discussions

The Prime Minister will confer with partner nations on how to withdraw Russian oil and gas off the global market.
